Although still in beta, Reaper (Win: freeware) looks like a promising digital audio and MIDI sequencer that supports DXi and VSTi.

Harmony-Central.com has a video giving an overview of the YAMAHA M7CL digital mixing console. I believe it is from last years AES convention in NY. I just came across it so I thought I would pass it along.

I believe it is the first real digital mixing console that is fully functional as a live console while being withing the financial reach of most (not all) churchs.
