Van Metschke For the last 22 years I have been married to my awesome wife and have two great kids. I love techs and have a heart for church production people. I also love helping churches with their production system issues and I believe it's not a stupid question if you don't know the answer. And yes, I also consult for churches on their production system needs and direction. I
am currently the Technical Arts Director at SOUTH
HILLS CHURCH, located in Corona, CA. For five years I was the
Main Mix Engineer and part of the Tech Arts staff at
MARINERS CHURCH, in Irvine CA. I also spent five years as the
Main Mix Engineer for SADDLEBACK
CHURCH in Lake Forrest CA, where I continue to mix on a regular
basis. At one time, I was General Manager of PT Pro Sound, a regional pro audio contractor and live sound systems provider based in Southern California. I was also road manager and sound mixer for an '80s Christian rock band that you may or may-not remember (or even heard of). In 1997 I started my own audio company to help churches with their audio needs through consultation and project focus.
